It’s that time of year again. What always promises to be a deliciously decadent evening is back! Endless food, shopping, live DJ and VIP guests. 


The Meatpacking District Business Improvement District (BID) is bringing back their fundraiser to Highline Stages to celebrate local businesses in the community.


This unique venue allows guests to stroll through the many booths occupied by participating businesses in the Meatpacking District. Food tastings and cocktails from 25+ area restaurants and bars, sample sales shopping from high-end retailers, entry into the silent auction, and music by Coco Breezy. It’s the unofficial kickoff to the spring season! Don’t miss it!!!!

The 5th annual celebration of the neighborhood will have Foodies and Fashionistas leaving sated and well dressed!


NEW YORK, NY (JANUARY 25, 2018) — The Meatpacking District Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce that their annual ‘indoor block party’ and fundraiser, Open Market, will return to Highline Stages on March 8, 2018 from 6:30pm – 10:30pm to celebrate the local business community. For the first time in the event’s five-year history, tickets may be purchased early at significantly reduced rates. From January 29, 2018 – February 9, 2018, ‘early-bird’ General Admission tickets will be available for $115 as well as VIP tickets for $300.


Dubbed the unofficial kickoff to the spring season, visitors and locals alike can enjoy every aspect of the iconic neighborhood, all under one roof. The dual-level venue allows guests to leisurely stroll through participating businesses, booth to booth, shopping their favorite brands and indulging in endless bites and sips.


The unforgettable evening includes food tastings and bespoke cocktails from 25+ area restaurants and bars, sample sale shopping from high-end retailers, entry into the silent auction, and music by Coco and Breezy. For the ultimate night out, VIP tickets offer early access to shop the sample sales, an exclusive hospitality experience by Soho House, a buy-it-now option for the silent auction, a gift bag filled will brand products, and guaranteed access to the VIP after party at TAO Downtown.

In addition, they will be joined by a host committee that includes a who’s who of the Meatpacking District and its supporters.

After the conclusion of the ‘early-bird’ ticketing period on February 10, 2018, General Admission tickets will be $150 and include a $25 shopping credit, and VIP tickets will be $350 and include a $50 shopping credit. Open Market raises funds that go towards the sanitation and beautification of the district – the betterment of a beloved neighborhood100% of the proceeds go to the Meatpacking District Improvement Association (MPIA), the non- profit business alliance of the area and will be specifically earmarked for the capital upgrade of the district’s streetscape, called the 14th Street Master Plan.
